While investigating UFO claims and related information, witnesses sometimes offer background information in an
effort to add weight to their report. As an example, you may get a report from someone who claims to be a retired
Naval officer who worked in an area that required security clearances and while working in that capacity, this
hypothetical Naval officer, had the opportunity to read classified material related to a well known UFO case. If this
hypothetical witness is a "new" witness or a witness that is here to fore unknown, you may want to try and verify
ny background information the hypothetical witness offers. Such as: what year he/she was discharged, what ships
did he/she serve on, what was their security classification at discharge, etc.etc.etc. Well thanks to the Internet, much
of this information is available online. In fact, a surprising amount of public and personal information is available online
about individuals. I have collect a number of links which deal with gathering information or protecting your own
personal information from scrutiny. I have not had a chance to classify all these links and break them up into the
various categories they belong to but I have verified that all are active as of 07/07/99. These links can enable you to
reverse trace email addresses or check DMV material in some states, or get an address from a phone number, etc. etc. etc.
A few of these links are to sites that charge a fee for the information but the vast majority of these links are to free sites.
It took many hours to gather these links and verify that the information on each is worthwhile. I have also included links to
sites that tell you how to protect your own information from scrutiny and how to surf the web and email anonymously. Use
these links responsibly and please read the below notice before accessing any of the links on this page.
Thank you,
